Adult Volunteers

Scouting also has much to offer the adult and can enrich your life. Thousands of volunteers are active in our council. They are everyday people, just like you. They work regular jobs and do scouting in their spare time. Volunteers are our greatest asset, scouting could not exist without them. You may serve youth members directly as a leader, or merit badge counselor. Or, serve in the background as a committee member at the Unit or District level. No job is unimportant. Training for volunteers is provided. Professional staff support is available, helping volunteers to do an effective job.
